Amid President Trump’s push to strengthen American energy, Fox News reports on a growing “web” of liberal dark money groups working to stop the advancement of nuclear energy.
“An American energy leader is warning that several progressive ‘green’ environmental groups opposing President Donald Trump’s nuclear energy plans are linked to a ‘web of dark money’ groups with ties to former President Barack Obama and other Democrats.”
These groups include the Union of Concerned Scientists, Nuclear Threat Initiative, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, the Sierra Club.
Jason Isaac, CEO of the American Energy Institute, told Fox:
“You follow the money, you’ll see where it leads. It leads straight to partisan mega-donors, foreign interests, and failed climate crusaders. This isn’t about the environment. It’s about political control over America’s energy future and our energy dominance.”
